This song is called "Unrequited", and yes it is about unrequited love. In truth, it was a little different but why let the truth get in the way of a good story. I knew it wasn't really unrequited, even though nothing had been said, but I really liked her as a person and didn't want to screw her up and the relationship she was in for something I didn't see a future in. The funny thing is, I always dodged meeting her boyfriend just in case I'd change my mind. This went on for ages and when I finally met him, he was a really nice guy and that maybe was over.

Verse 1:
You’re always on my mind, you just won’t fade.
This secret love of mine will drive me insane.
I want to tell you the truth, when I see you I just go mute.
You’re with another man.
Is it fate that we are apart, or is it time to open my heart.
Or will I keep you in my sleep.
Chorus:
I’ve been wanting to tell you all, but I can’t.
You’re in love with another man.
So I wait for fate to make the call, it’s so cruel.
I’ve explained that I’m in love with you.
Verse 2:
But it’s just questionable the way, we act on fate.
We believe in trust and faith,
we believe in love that won’t break, but it relies on us.
Don’t be too hard, on your broken heart,
It’ll just take longer to heel.
Chorus:
I’ve been wanting to tell you all, but I can’t.
You’re in love with another man.
So I wait for fate to make the call, it’s so cruel.
I’ve explained that I’m in love with you.
With you, with you,
I’m in love with you, mmmm……
And no one knows, not even you. Oooooo…….
